How to list what you sell so customers can browse your inventory before they visit — and place orders for pickup or shipping.
A product is anything you sell — a piece of clothing, a candle, a book, a jar of jam, a piece of art. Adding products to your store lets customers browse what you carry from their phone before they visit. It also lets them place orders for pickup or shipping. You don't need to list everything you sell right away. Starting with your 10 to 20 most popular or best-looking items is a great place to begin.
Tap 'My Stuff' at the bottom of the screen, then tap your store, then tap 'Manage Store.' Look for a section or button called 'Products' and tap it. You'll see a screen showing all the products you've listed so far — if you're just starting, it will be empty, and that's completely normal.
Look for a '+' button — a plus sign — usually in the top right corner of the screen. Tap it once. A new screen will open where you fill in everything about the product you're adding.
Tap the photo area at the top of the product editor. Your phone will give you the option to take a new photo right now with your camera, or to choose a photo you've already taken. If you choose a photo you've already taken, you'll see your camera roll — a grid of all the photos on your phone. Tap the one you want. Good lighting makes photos look much better — near a window in natural light is ideal. Try to take photos from two or three angles if you can. The first photo you add will be the one customers see first.
Tap the field labeled 'Title' or 'Product Name' and type what the product is. Be specific — 'Blue hand-knit wool scarf' tells customers much more than just 'Scarf.' Specific names also make it easier for customers to find what they're looking for when they search.
Tap the 'Description' field and write a bit about the product. Include things like the size, the material it's made from, the color, and anything that makes it special. If you made it by hand or it has a story behind it, include that too. Customers who are close to placing an order will read this — a few honest sentences is enough.
Tap the 'Price' field and type in the amount the product costs. Type numbers only — no dollar sign needed, the app will add it for you. Double-check that you've typed the right number before moving on.
Before you save, look for a toggle labeled 'In Stock,' 'Active,' or 'Live' — it should look highlighted or green. If it looks gray, tap it once to turn it on. A green toggle means customers can see this product. Once that's on, tap 'Save.' Your product is now live on your store page. Repeat these steps for each product you want to add. You can come back and edit, remove, or add products at any time.
